What makes a download actually work

The link has to point at a specific post — a profile URL or a search page won't resolve to a single video. Open the tweet itself (the URL will contain /status/ followed by a number) and copy that.

Quote tweets, GIF posts, and finished live replays all resolve the same way as a regular video post. Only the account has to be public — a protected account's media isn't reachable without being logged in as an approved follower, which this tool never does.

FAQ

Why won't Twitter just let me save the video normally?
Twitter's own app and site don't have a save/download button for videos — that's true for basically every social platform, not a restriction specific to this tool.
Is there a limit on how many I can download?
No sign-up, no daily cap. Each download is a separate paste-and-go — there's no batch mode, so multi-video threads need one link at a time.
What if the tweet is deleted after I download it?
The file you already saved is unaffected — it's a normal MP4 on your device at that point, independent of the original post.
