What this tool actually does

TwitterDownloaderX doesn't host or store any media. It reads a public post's video, GIF, or photo — the same content X already serves to anyone viewing that post — and streams it back to the person who requested it, at their explicit request. No copies are kept after the request is served.

Responsibility for what's downloaded, and whether that's lawful, sits with the person who requests it — see the Terms of Service.

Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content accessible through TwitterDownloaderX infringes your copyright, email contact@twitterdownloaderx.com with:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• The specific X/Twitter post URL(s) in question.
• Your contact information (name, email, address).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you're authorized to act.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

On receiving a valid notice, we'll block the reported post from being processed through this tool. Since the underlying content lives on X's own servers, a full removal has to go through X's own copyright policy — we can only control access through this tool, not the source post itself.

Counter-notice

If you believe a block was made in error, email the same address with your contact information and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the block was mistaken.
