Download X videos on your device and browser
The download itself is the same everywhere: paste the link, pick a quality. What changes is where the file lands, how you open it and what gets in the way. Pick your device and browser below.
Download only content you own or have permission to use. Public posts only; we store no videos. Responsible use
Each page covers one device + browser combination, because that pair decides the details: Safari on iPhone saves to the Files app and needs one extra step to reach Photos, Chrome on iPhone keeps its own folder inside Files, Samsung Internet has a separate downloads list, and desktop browsers each use different shortcuts and settings for the Downloads folder.
Everything here was written from how TwitterDownloaderX actually serves files: a normal HTTPS download with a Content-Disposition: attachment header and a file name like user_1234567890_720p.mp4. No app, profile, extension or account is needed on any device.
If your download fails rather than landing in the wrong place, the error pages explain each message the tool can show.
Not sure which page is yours? On a phone, the browser you opened the link in matters more than the phone brand: the X app hands links to your default browser, so check which one opened. On a computer, the operating system decides the shortcuts (Ctrl+J on Windows, Option-Command-L on a Mac) and the browser decides the settings. Every page ends with the same practical checks: where the file is, how to move it to Photos or the gallery, and what to do when it plays but won't save.
