How to Download Twitter Videos on Android

The actual steps on Android
- In the X app, tap the share icon on the post, then Copy Link.
- Come back here, paste it into the box above, tap Extract.
- Tap a quality's download button — Chrome shows a small download notification.
- Tap that notification (or open Files → Downloads) to play or share the saved MP4.
If you use a browser other than Chrome (Samsung Internet, Firefox), the flow is identical — every Android browser saves a direct file download to the same shared Downloads location.

FAQ
Where do the videos end up?
In your device's normal Downloads folder — reachable from the Files app (sometimes called "My Files" or "Files by Google") or from Chrome's own downloads list (⋮ menu → Downloads).
The video downloaded but won't play, is that normal?
It should open in any video app immediately since it's a standard MP4. If it doesn't, check the file actually finished downloading — a slow connection on a large live-replay file can look complete before the last few percent lands.
Do I need to allow storage permissions?
Modern Android (10+) lets Chrome write to Downloads without a separate storage permission prompt. Older versions may ask once — allowing it only affects where the file is saved, nothing else.
